Q: Are there any contra-indications to EVOLENCE AND EVOLENCE Breeze treatment?
A: You should not have treatment with EVOLENCE OR EVOLENCE Breeze if you are Pregnant or Breast-feeding, have an active skin disorder on the face or area to be treated, a current infection, any Extreme allergic states, Severe illness, Auto-immune disorders or active cold sores.
Q: How is Evolence, Evolence Breeze treatment performed?
A: Initial consultation will determine the goals of treatment, make note of any associated medical conditions and plan the optimum treatment to achieve the ideal result in each patient. Treatment is carried out in the out-patient setting and takes 30 – 60 minutes. A topical local anaesthetic cream is applied to the area(s); face, nose or hands. For most areas the Magic Needle is used, which provides the most comfortable and atraumatic treatment possible which is greatly superior to a standard needle treatment.
Q: What are the side effects, risks of Evolence,Evolence Breeze treatment?
A: The treatment with Evolence Breeze, such as for Lip enhancement, cheek reshaping and nose reshaping can cause some bruising and swelling which usually resolves in 3 - 5 days. Some reddness of the skin can occur for 1 - 3 hours after the Evolence treatment. Reactions to Evolence and Evolence Breeze are rare. Lumps or lumpiness are uncommon and usually temporary, which usually resolve in 1 -2 weeks.
Q: Is Evolence, Evolence Breeze treatment painful?
A: Depending on the area (s) being treated e.g. Nose, Chin, Cheeks or Lips, treatment with Evolence is performed with topical local anaesthetic only, to ensure that the treatment is as comfortable as possible. Minimal discomfort is experienced following the treatment and the areas may feel mildly tender for 5 days after.
Q: Will I have any bruising or swelling after Evolence, Evolence Breeze treatment?
A: Different areas react differently to injections. While the lips and tear troughs are more prone to bruising compared to the cheeks, chin or nasolabial lines, treatment with Evolence - Evolence Breeze - Collagen injectable aims to provide a natural rejuvenation with minimal bruising and swelling. However, some patients may experience some bruising and or swelling following the treatment despite careful attention. Any bruising and swelling will usually resolve in 3 -5 days. Use of Arnica tablets and Arnica cream will aid rapid healing following treatment.
Q: What precautions are there following treatment with EVOLENCE, EVOLENCE Breeze?
A: Following your treatment you should avoid smoking and alcohol for 24 hours. Avoid vigorous activity and sun/sun-beds for 2 days and do not massage the area for 5 days. With treatments to reshape the nose, cheeks or chin – you must avoid pressure on these areas for 5 days, sleep on your back. Women are able to wear normal make-up the morning after the treatment.
Q: When will the results be seen?
A: Improvement in the skin, lips, nose cheek and chin are visible immediately after your treatment with EVOLENCE, EVOLENCE Breeze. You should look good, with little or no visible effects of your treatment the next morning, being able to return to work.
Q: How long will the results of Evolence, Evolence Breeze last?
A: The non-surgical rejuvenation with Evolence provides results that continue to be present for 12 to 18 months. Different areas will see either shorter of longer duration of improvement. Evolence injections for Cheek or Chin enhancement, or Nose Shaping are more stable compared to Nasolabial injections with Evolence or Lip enhancement with Evolence Breeze because of the increased mobility of the tissues in the latter areas. Refresher treatments are recommended every 12 months depending on the aging changes and desired rejuvenation.
