What is Laresse injectable filler?

What is Laresse used for?

How is Laresse treatment performed?

Treatment with Laresse is performed in the outpatient setting and takes about 15 - 30 mins. Topical local anaesthetic cream and local anaesthetic injections aim to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Laresse will be injected into the areas of the face using very fine needles to achieve the optimum results. Cooling of the skin during and after the treatment aids in reducing bruising and swelling.

What are the side effects / risks of Laresse treatment?

The treatment can cause some bruising and swelling which usually resolves in 3 - 5 days. Some reddness of the skin can occur for 1 - 3 hours after the Laresse treatment. Reactions to Laresse are rare. Lumps or lumpiness are uncommon and usually temporary, which usually resolve in 1 -2 weeks.

Is Laresse treatment painful?

Treatment with Laresse is performed with topical local anaesthetic and or injections to ensure that the treatment is as comfortable as possible. Minimal discomfort is experienced following the treatment and the areas may feel mildly tender for 5 days after.

Will I have bruising and swelling following Laresse treatment?

Treatment with Laresse- non-surgical rejuvenation, aims to provide a natural rejuvenation with minimal bruising and swelling. However, some patients may experience some bruising and or swelling following the treatment despite careful attention. Any bruising and swelling will usually resolve in 3 -5 days. Use of Arnica tablets and Arnica cream will aid rapid healing following treatment.

How long will the results of Laresse treatment last?

The non-surgical treatment using Laresse is expected to provide improvement in the skin for 4 - 6 months. Refresher treatments are recommended every 6 months depending on the aging changes and desired rejuvenation.
