Mary O’Brien RN
Mary is our Clinical Nurse Manager and has worked with LBPS for the past seven years. Mary qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1985, a Midwife 1987 and a Family Planning Nurse 1992. She also studied Acupuncture for three years and qualified as an Acupuncturist from The British College of Acupuncture in 1993. Mary worked both in the NHS and privately as a Midwife and a Practice Nurse for over twenty years. In 2008 Mary returned to University to study at Degree level to attain her Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification. Most recently in 2014 Mary completed her Accreditation Programme at the Marion Gluck Clinic to become the first Nurse in the UK to prescribe Bio-Identical hormones to help men and women cope with symptoms of Hormonal imbalance. Mary works alongside Mr Inglefield in theatre as his surgical assistant, supports, educates and cares for our patients pre and post operatively but also enjoys seeing her own patients within the practice. Women’s health and wellness have always been a passion of Marys, so now at LBPS we offer many Women’s Health services. These include a Women’s Health Consultation that consists of a Smear Test, Breast Examination and Menopause advice and additional services such as Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation, pregnancy testing and hormone testing.
Natalie joined LBPS in August 2015 as a Practice Nurse, having gained her 1st Class Honours degree in Adult Nursing. Prior to joining the clinic, she refined her practice within the ICU setting and has therefore developed an extensive specialised knowledge of both intensive and critical care. Natalie’s experience gained throughout her career progression to date has allowed her to contribute a positive and beneficial change that she strives to carry forth within her growing role here at LBPS.
Eugene joined LBPS in November 2016 as a Surgical Nurse, having gained his Nursing and Midwifery Council Qualifications as an Adult Nurse year 2010. Prior to this, he was a theatre nurse in the Philippines. He worked in the NHS for 4 years and in the private sector for 2 years. A decade of theatre experience, backed up with conscientious training and studies, enables him to provide diligent care to his patients undergoing surgery and to Mr. Inglefield as well.
Lynsey joined LBPS in August 2013 and is a fully qualified Aesthetic Therapist having passed with credited grades for facial electrical treatments. She has been in the aesthetic industry for 10 years, specialising in lasers for skin rejuvenation and body treatments. She also has past experience with holistic treatments such as massage and aromatherapy which gives her a unique and caring approach. Lynsey has a keen interest in body contouring and skin tightening and will develop a tailor made programme to suit your needs and concerns.
Maeve joined LBPS in February 2016 as a Practice Nurse, having obtained her Adult Nursing degree and accumulating experience in both an acute medical and surgical hospital setting. In May 2017, Maeve was promoted to Business Manager, focussing on the day-to-day operation of the clinic as well as the development of the business and staff. Maeve is also responsible for ensuring that our high levels of patient care are maintained and all patient journeys are as smooth and stress free as possible.
Hannah joined the Clinic in January 2015 having previously worked in Spa’s in London and Kent. She is a fully trained skin and body therapist but decided she preferred the administrative side and dealing with patients. Having joined as a receptionist, she has since been promoted and is now able to put her knowledge and experience to good use working as a Senior Practice Administrator.
Alexandra joined LBPS in January 2016 having come to England from Hungary more than 10 years ago to study English at Bromley College. After then studying Italian at Westminster University, Alexandra worked in the hospitality industry for 9 years, gaining experience as a Team Leader and moving on to work in a Practice Surgery for the NHS in 2014 as a Receptionist/Medical Administrator. It was then Alexandra decided she wanted to work in private practice and joined LBPS as Practice Administrator.
Lucy joined LBPS in December 2016 as a Receptionist. Following her previous experience working as a receptionist at a spa and cabin crew for Easy Jet, Lucy has gained a huge amount of customer experience and is now able to transfer this knowledge to LBPS. Lucy enjoyed the administrative tasks and the beauty environment as a spa receptionist and therefore decided to start a new journey and join the clinic to learn more about the cosmetic industry.
Aisling joined LBPS in May 2017 as a receptionist. Originally from Ireland, Aisling has previous experience working as a receptionist in a Spa and at Toni&Guy, where she has gained a huge amount of customer experience. Aisling is a fully trained beauty therapist and decided that LBPS would be the next step in her career to develop her experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic industry.
