Jet-Hair Treatment FAQ’s
  • What is Jet-Hair Treatment?
Jet-Hair uses a unique combination of treatments, including Jet Peel, Dermaroller, and a topical antioxidant, to the effected area which stimulates the deeper layers of the scalp, increasing blood supply to the area, and encouraging new cell growth.

    • Jet Peel is a treatment with pressurised water and air used to stimulate hair follicles and promote new cell growth. It is a relaxing treatment that allows deeper penetrations and vitamin infusion to:

      – Sooth irritated itchy scalps
      – Hydrate dry flaky scalps and allow antioxidants to rejuvenate the deeper subcutaneous layers of the scalp.

    • Dermaroller is also used during the treatment to increase stimulation and increase blood circulation to the treated area. This increases the absorption and efficacy of your antioxidants and hair growth stimulating solution to prevent further hair loss and encourage re-growth. To achieve optimum results a combination of both in- clinic and at-home home treatments may be prescribed.
  • Who is suitable for Jet-Hair treatment?
Jet-Hair treatment is highly effective for new hair growth with Male Pattern Hair Loss (MPHL) or Female Pattern Hair Loss (FPHL) patients of all skin and hair types. In some cases patients with hair loss due to other factors would see improvement in hair density, thickness or volume, although assessment by a medical practitioner would determine suitability for this treatment.
  • How long will the treatment take?
Treatment length will depend on the size of the area to be treated. A single treatment will most likely take approximately 30-45 minutes.
