Meet Mr. Giuseppe Di Taranto

Mr. Giuseppe Di Taranto is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Following specialist training – both in Italy and abroad -, he took an interest in the reconstruction of soft tissue, particularly focusing on breast surgery. During his fellowships in Brazil, Taiwan and Japan, he trained closely with some of the pioneers of microsurgery learning the most cutting-edge techniques in the field of Autologous Reconstruction with Free Flaps. Mr. Di Taranto has notable experience in Head and Neck Reconstruction as well as Lymphedema Surgery, including Lymph Node Transfer. He is the lead author of numerous research projects and his books and papers have been featured in prestigious international journals. He has validated new devices for the fast isolation of adipose-derived stem cells and developed innovative protocols in the field of regenerative medicine.

Following his experience abroad, Mr. Di Taranto currently holds a Substantive Consultant post within the prestigious Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust, in Central London, where he performs oncologic and reconstructive procedures of General Plastic Surgery and Gender Affirmation Surgery.

At London Bridge Plastic Surgery, he offers a wide range of cosmetic surgeries for the body and face and is privileged to practice in different hospitals and clinics on Harley Street, London.
