Understanding eyes at LBPS

They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul…so let’s make the frames as good as we can! As we age, the eyes are often the first places that we notice fine lines and wrinkles, and we can develop eye bags and hooded lids. Often our eyes look a lot older than we feel. So what can be done? There are a wide range of different possibilities, both non surgical and surgical, all offering great results.

Let’s start with eye bag removal or blepharoplasty. This is a plastic surgical procedure to remove excess skin in the upper and lower lids. If the eye bags are as a result of drooping fat, this fat can be removed and the eyes refreshed. One of the special features of a blepharoplasty at LBPS is that fat can be redistributed to provide volume in the eye area where appropriate which is associated with youth.

For those who prefer something less invasive, 3DEEP EndyMed PRO is the ideal way for a pain free, no downtime rejuventation to lift and refresh the eyes. Working to stimulate new collagen production which will help strengthen the delicate tissue around the eyes, EndyMed is a relaxing treatment with immediate and long lasting results.

Crows feet and wrinkles around the eye can be treated using Intensive Microneedling, a state of the art technology that harnesses the body’s own healing properties and stimulates a rejuvenation of collagen and elastin. Fillers can also be used to help add volume to the under eye area where volume has been lost, to help restore a youthful appearance.

Dr Florian Netzer is also able to treat unsightly veins under the eyes. Following an ultrasound examination, he will treat the eyes to remove the veins using his delicate and pain free techniques.

Eyebrows can frame the eyes and change an appearance dramatically. Wendy Stallard, our semi permanent make up artist, is able to create a natural looking effect that will have people asking where you have been on holiday.
