At LBPS, we understand that for many women, gynaecological and other health problems can be a source of great concern. The women’s health service is a new offering from LBPS, providing the most up-to-date care dealing with the health needs of women in discreet and compassionate surroundings.
Our women’s health consultations are with our Clinical Nurse Specialist, Mary O’Brien. This 45 minute consultation includes:
- Smear Test
- Breast Examination
- Menopause advice / bio identical hormone therapy
As well as the initial consultation , we are also offering a range of services dedicated to women’s health and wellbeing.

Smear Tests
Routine smear tests are a vital part of women’s healthcare and having it done at LBPS has a number of benefits:
- You can book your appointment at your convenience
- The test results are back between 48 – 72 hours after your test
- We include a screen for human papilloma virus
- We can organise an immediate gynaecological referral should you need one
Vaginal Tightening
New technology has allowed us to offer a revolutionary technique for tightening the vaginal walls. Using a laser to stimulate collagen growth, it will tighten the vaginal wall, thereby restoring a more youthful feel. It also helps reduce urinary incontinence. In addition, feedback has shown that Laser Vaginal Tightening also helps those that suffer from dryness and recurrent vaginal infections.
