Hairline Lowering

Hairline lowering surgery, also known as forehead lowering, forehead reduction, hairline advancement, hairline correction, and foreheadplasty, is used to lower the hairline, reduce the height of the forehead, and correct normal temple recession to create a more rounded hairline.

This facial plastic surgery procedure is commonly combined with brow lift surgery, or brow contouring surgery. Where significant hairline recession or male-pattern hair loss has occurred, hair transplantation may be necessary either on its own or in combination with hairline lowering surgery.
