Hairline Lowering

Hairline lowering surgery, also known as forehead lowering, forehead reduction, hairline advancement, hairline correction, and foreheadplasty, is used to lower the hairline, reduce the height of the forehead, and correct normal temple recession to create a more rounded hairline.

This facial plastic surgery procedure is commonly combined with brow lift surgery or brow contouring surgery. Where significant hairline recession or male-pattern hair loss has occurred, hair transplantation may be necessary either on its own or in combination with hairline lowering surgery.

Forehead Reduction Surgery Is A Thing – We Did It!
Forehead ReductionBotox and fillers are pretty reg procedures these days and something we often discuss without batting an eyelid – not because it’s not a big deal, but because it’s so common. However, recently a colleague casually mentioned a procedure they were planning to have, which gave us a much more “Wtf?!” response. Literally, we had never heard of hairline-lowering surgery before, and we had just as many questions as you do on hearing that.

Is Your Forehead Too Big? Hairline-Lowering Surgery May Be the Answer
Hairline-LoweringA large forehead is a sign of beauty in some cultures, and in other cultures, it’s a sign of intelligence. However, if you don’t belong to a culture that sees your broad forehead as a sign of beauty or intelligence, it is often seen as broad and unattractive. Try this: Place four fingers horizontally against your forehead. If the forehead takes up more space than the four fingers, then it may be broad to the point where it doesn’t match with your other features.
